Do your products contain fragrances or essential oils?
We do not use fragrances or essential oils in our formulas. Scent that is perceived comes directly from our high quality CO2 extracts and cold pressed botanical seed oils.
Are your products vegan?
Yes, all our products are vegan except for the Selva Detox cleanser as it contains honey.
How long does it take to see results?
Uva Enzyme Oil Cleanser, Selva Detox Powder Cleanser, and Ilumina C Oil Serum are formulated to work synergistically. For optimal results, incorporate the following 5 minute routine 2-3 times a week - in the evenings:
1. Massage 3 pumps of Uva Enzyme oil cleanser to remove makeup, grime, and excess sebum for 1 minute
2. Combine 1 to 2 more pumps of Uva Enzyme oil cleanser and 1 teaspoon of Selva Detox powder cleanser in the palm of your hand to create a paste and massage gently (avoiding sensitive areas). Give extra attention to congested areas for best results.
3. Wash off with warm water to reveal clean, luminous and rejuvenated skin. Washcloth is not necessary!
4. Mist face generously and massage 3 to 4 drops of Ilumina C oil serum on skin. Make sure to include lips, eye area, and neck until skin has completely absorbed the formula.
Are all ingredients organic?

What is the shelf life of Raíz & Luz products?
Since our products are handmade in small batches using natural ingredients, products do have a shorter shelf life compared to conventional products on the market. Products last 12 months from the date of opening, however, we recommend using within 6 months for optimal potency.
